It would be nice to have “light day” (from sunrise to sunset) in chart range selectors. Which is based on current location.
That would be useful for displaying solar power production.
Note that a server & numerous clients may be located in different TZs.
And a location of a “home” is defined → the “Sun” integration gives “sunrise” & “sundown” values for this location. Means - “light day” can be different for different clients if a “client time” is selected in settings.
I think the client time is almost always the same as server time, as people install HA usually locally.
I think it is also possible to create 2 ranges:
- Light day server
- Light day client
That would make such graphs look much better.
