Add network storage : help needed!

Hello,

Till now I used the add-on “Samba Backup” to take my daily backups of home assistant.

This is the configuration :

Now I want to add a network storage, but this seems not working :

But I get an error :

What am I missing ?

2 things are missing here:

  • Your add-on have more available configuration options, where one is pretty relevant compatibility_mode, you are not showing that option.
  • As the error say “Check host logs for errors”, where are those?

There seems nothing in the logs of the Synology.

I must say it’s an old Synology, so…

3 For the CIFS option, only version 2.1+ is supported.

So yeah, as you use that option you are probably running version 1 or 2.

OK, so I must stay with the add-on (not a problem, works fine).
