Add-on, MQTT Install

Hello!

I’m going to install an MQTT.

If you look at Add-on, there are “Mosquito brokers” and “MQT Server & Web clients,” and I want to know which one is the right one to install.

I currently installed “MQT Server & Web client” and when I run Zigbee2MQTT, the log remains “Not connected to MQT server!”

I checked the contents of the link.

Are you using HassIO?

Yes, I use it

@JiYiNo is talking about addons, so that would be a ‘yes’.

The Official Addons / Mosquitto is an mqtt broker that works well.

The Community Addons / MQTT Server & Web client has the same broker but also has Hivemq’s web client that you can use to subscribe or publish to topics for inspection/debugging. You can see more about it here: Home Assistant Community Add-on: MQTT Server & Web client

I use the first option in hassio and an install of mqttfx on my PC for mqtt debugging as I prefer the mqttfx interface.

Use the broker addon if you don’t have a broker on your network.

Both addons include the broker. One just also includes the Hivemq’s web client

I solved this problem.

I don’t think I knew how to use MQTT.

I changed the settings to confirm that there was no ERROR message.
