This is a small annoyance, I suppose, but recently (I think on a recent update) ESPHome has changed it’s name in the sidebar of the web UI to ESPHome Device Compiler.
This caused the sidebar to expand leaving less room for my dashboard. Is there any way to change it back to just ESPHome?
Yeah, I hate a new name.
I agree. It pushes the sidebar too wide
So who do we gripe at to get this fixed? I haven’t found a place to complain other than here.
did anyone there think about the fact that all sidebar things are like one word long and short and now they made something thats 3 words long and makes the sidebar gigantic?
i get the need for clarity, but freaking leave the sidebar name alone or use a acronym or something.
The new name really sucks. Way too long.
