This is possible with a script, but not with an automation. Most of the times it is not neccesary as well, since the automation has the definition of triggers. However you can call an automation from an automation or an automation from a script. Would be nice if it was the same…
That’s a bad design practice and a reason why this FR is unlikely to be fulfilled.
