The GD00Z-4 tilt sensor is unreliable and can sometimes trigger an alarm on Alarmo when it falsely reports being open. This has always been the case even when I still used SmartThings.
Is there a way to add a secondary door sensor that can be combined with the tilt sensor so the garage opener still works and have it work with Alarmo? I have a sensor template that now works with Alarmo as a door and I figure there’s a way to AND the tilt sensor and another door sensor, but ansure if I’m missing something.
Is there a way to fix the unreliable tilt sensor? Is there something I can tweak in HA so it’s not so sensitive so I may not need to add a second door sensor?
