All devices recognized by the Qingping integration only send data, except the alarm clock (CGD1). The alarm clock needs external input to set the time and the alarm.
Of course you can do that using the app on the phone, but it would be ways better if it would be possible to set the time at the same time as home assistant.
That would for instance automatically change the clock on setting and unsetting DST, something that otherwise does not happen, The alarm rings at the wrong time the mornings after the change, unless you wake up and change the time before. 
The internal reference for the clock is of course also not very precise, so the only way to keep the correct time is to periodically connect with the app.
