I’ve read trough this thread and have tried to replicate the setup using Tuya.
But for the life of me I can’t figure out how to set this up on my Android device.
There’s no Homekit option and I can’t find the smart purifier itself either.
Any help would be appreciated.
I also have an Android Smartphone and cannot select HomeKit. My Smartmi Air Circulator Fan cannot be paired with Google Home either. Maybe someone knows, I am grateful for any help
Edit: I have now been able to install Local Tuya and have also added my SmartMi Circulator Fan. I made Local Tuya according to these instructions: Home Assistant Local Tuya Integration einrichten - Update 4
Important: The device must be reseted before it is linked to the “SmartLife” app.
The installation with Tuya Local seems to be quite complicated 
@redphx: How did you configure your SmartMi Circulator Fan 2? Could you give me the codes for the device? Thank you very much! 
Thanks to all the guys and gals who figured out the configuration of the Purifier. Indeed, it works similar with the Smartmi Air Purifier 2 as I have successfully tested some minutes ago. Great work, thank you!
