Add support for LG soundbars - Supported model?

There is a new component in home assistant called “LG Soundbars”.

However, the doc is slim on the subject : https://www.home-assistant.io/components/media_player.lg_soundbar/

It says that supported device are : The SK range

I want to know if that include the lower end (budget) of the SK range.

For example, does it include the : SK1

Also, do we know how the component connect itself to the soundbar ? Wifi ?, bluetooth?

Did anybody tried it already ?

I have an SK8. HA is creating three (!) media_player devices for it.

  • media_player.unknown_device
  • media_player.soundbar
  • media_player.soundbar_2

None of the media player entities has the full control set and can control the soundbar properly. So for me the component is not usable at the moment.
