Add 'Video Loss' to Hikvision Binary Sensor

I am using the Hikvision Binary Sensor with success: I am seeing motion detection events, intrusion detection, it’s great!
But what is not coming through in Home Assistant is the Video Loss notification: the corresponding entity was simply not created by the platform. It is also not in the list of events supported by the platform, so that makes sense.

By the way, I do get an email upon video loss, so I am sure there is a trigger activated.

Would be great if this could be added, thanks!

This is how it is configured in my Hikvision NVR, type DS-7616NI-I2:

I don’t see video loss mentioned here Hikvision - Home Assistant so what makes you think it is supported?

You are right, currently it is not supported, like I wrote.
That is why it is a feature request, and not reported as a bug.

Sorry, thought you were reporting a bug, vote given

But there are many ways to integrate them like ONVIF - Home Assistant if your Nvr supports it.
I used this one Generic Camera - Home Assistant for my old DVR.

To connect to the video stream those can be used indeed. This is about the binary signals such as motion detection, line crossing, and in this case video loss which are generated by the NVR or the camera. These signals are made accessible to HA by the Hikvision Binary Sensor. But not the Video Loss signal, yet.
