Hey guys
is it possible to add VM Capabilities to HA OS? So i could run VM’s as its really idling all the time or would i be better off backing up and then install proxmox and install a VM of HA OS?

I doubt the Devs are going to add virtualization to HassOS.
After a raspberry Pi, a VM is the most popular install method per the analytics page. I have been running HA in an ESXi VM for years now and have no issues with it.
Long way to say, go with your second option.
Not likely adding VM capability would ever happen, and this us what you want to do anyways.
You can install proxmox and haos on top of proxmox. Then other things on top of proxmox to soak up those idle cpu cycles.
