I love the recent introduction of Energy management in HA, allowing to integrate Grid, Solar and Gas as source of energy.
Would it be possible to add Water Heating as type of source of energy as well?
Many like me are supplied with District Heating, and there are also hundreds of thousands houselholds equiped with solar water panel or photovoltaic dedicated solution to heat water boilers (very promising approach actually).
To be complete I can add that Water Heating (both for tap/shower water + water floor heating) are by far the main area of energy consumption for equiped houselholds… so to my humble opinion Water Heating deserves a specific separate place in the energy mix of HA.
Of course I could add it as a “Gas” source-like (this kind of energy is counted and charged by energy suppliers as $ per kWh) but I guess I am not the only one that would appreciate a cleaner solution.
