Adding HomeKit bridge to Apple Home

Hello,

I am new to Home Assistant and is still trying to find my feet :-). I am trying to add the HomeKit Bridge to my Home on Apple, but this is failing constantly with “Unable to add accessory”

The configuration of the HASS Bridge also fails with the following error: Errno 99: can’t bind to some address 192.168.20.nnn. Doesn’t matter how many times I delete it or have it rediscovered. I have added only one device to just get it going and will then add more

I have done a bit of searching on this and couldn’t find anything that would help me.

Some background on my setup:
I am running HA ver 2023.1.2 on Hyper-V on Windows Server 2019. The server is multi-homed as is HA, reason for this is that I run all Iot devices on a dedicated 2.4Ghz network, separated from my normal home network. There is no link between the two and both can connect to the internet. The other network has my normal streaming devices (Apple TVs) etc. and also used for normal work stuff. HA has discovered all devices on both networks, and I have successfully configured some automations.

All iot devices are Tuya. However, when I want to add the HASS Bridge to the Home App on Apple device, it fails with the above error. I have tried multiple devices, iPhone 14, iPad with latest OS, all the same

Am I missing a configuration step somewhere? (Must also say, that I can’t find any device that relate to address it is trying to bind to)

I assume that because of the error, the bridge can’t connect to the network and also cause the adding to the Home App to fail

I would appreciate any help / advice on how to solve this.

Thanks
Johan
