Adding IP camera and Unique ID errors

I’m having problems with adding IP camera to HA.

I initially added a single camera and it work. Then change the code slightly for secrets file to include passwords and added a second camera. It all fell apart then. This was all to the camera.yaml file.

I’m getting “This entity (‘camera.generic_camera’) does not have a unique ID” errors now. I’ve tried different names and slight different configs but all to the same results.

I’ve tried wiping anything camera related to HA and starting again with no luck.

I’ve have read a handful of post on this topic, seems fairly common but can’t seem to find a solution. I have looked in the .storage folder and checked related files but no reference to the original camera entities.

Any assistance appreciated. TIA.

Just to check do camera have an ID or is this normal behavior?

I did more testing and was able to get the RTSP to work on the second stream. (Hikvision camera) but on the primary stream I’ve getting “Error with media stream contents”. (Sure I had it working on the primary stream) Anything I cam do to correct?
