Adding matter device in HA 2024.7.3

After the last HA update 2024.7.3 I’m unable to add matter devices (using Aqara M3 hub and matter beta docker add-on). Existing devices work just fine. Anyone else having this problem?

Is the Aqara hub the controller, or is Home Assistant? If it is the first, it may have nothing to do with HA.

And was the device paired before? I think I read somewhere the QR code can only be used for the first pairing. Maybe try a factory reset of the device.

The aqara Hub is the controller sharing the matter code It worked just fine with the same devices just before the latest HA update.

Is it paired to the Aqara and can’t it be shared, or is it not paired at all?

It is paired in Aqara and also in the Nanoleaf app (in this case its a Nanoleaf Gu10 Essential). I also tried an aqara motion P2. Also cant be paired with HA anymore.

I had trouble the last couple of days too with my openthread border router. I have not have time to figure out why. I also have nest border routers, they work fine now. But I had to reboot everything to get it all going again.

I found it! Stopped Ha, stopped the matter server addon, than restarted the matter server addon and then Ha again. All devices came back on and I could add new matter devices again. Perhaps it wasn’t the latest Ha but the latest matter server addon that was updated a few days ago
