I have 25 zwave devices connected in my setup.
Now I want to connect to a door-lock. This door-lock require that I have a ‘network_key’ (not set in my setup).
If I set a ‘network_key’, do I need to re-pair all my zwave devices?
Can I just set the network_key in the ‘/config/.storage/core.config_entries’? Or is it better to set it in the ‘configuration.yaml’?
If you don’t have a network key yet, then all devices are added without encryption. Adding/changing the network key doesn’t impact those devices in that case, no re-pairing needed. Depending on your Z-Wave setup, you can set the network key on the integration.
