Additional Alexa Account via nabu casa cloud?

I have connected my alexa account to my home assistant installation via nabu casa without any problems and am very happy with it. I can control my whole home via my echo devices in my house.

However, i would realy like to have the ability that my parents, that live in another house with a separate alexa account and separate echo devices can also trigger some of my HA automations via their echos somehow…

Is it possible to connect to two alexa accounts via nabu casa? Or is there any other way that HA automations can be triggered from another alexa account?

  • IFTTT would have fitted perfectly but the service is about to close down :frowning:

Nevermind my question…

i just figured out the soulution … and also that it was a realy dumb question in the first pace :slight_smile:

Of course you can just install the home assistant skill on the second alexa account as well, connect to the same nabu casa account and get all the exposed HA automations available there also…

I tried to do this tonight and every time I tried, Alex kept saying she couldn’t find any new devices.

I opened Alexa App.
Searched Home Assistant
Tapped Enable
It then searches for a device in setup mode. Over and over.
I then installed the Home Assistant App.
Created a user for the second person
Logged into HASS with their credentials.
I don’t know what else I can try.

Mind explaining the steps on how to link a second person’s alexa to HASS? Thank you!
