Addon Raspberrymatic

Hello,
Simon 42 has this guide:

Rasbberrymatic as an addon in HA.
I have a HA-yellow myself.

  • Core 2024.4.2
  • Supervisor 2024.04.0
  • Operating System 12.1
  • Frontend 20240404.1
    Can I use these instructions to install this addon and will the stick be recognized?
    So should I follow the instructions 1:1?

It looks like it is pretty up-to-date so just go ahead.
One important note to remember is that there are actually two types of that USB stick.
One is the official one and the other is a Telekom version, which often is called HmIP-RFUSB-TK.

The Telekom stick is for some Telekom rebranded Homematic devices.
It works with standard Homematic IP devices, but not with BISCOS and older Homematic devices.
It can also not have the firmware updated through the addon and there might be other issues, because it has not been fully tested.
