First things first, I am very new to home assistant and the world of Raspberry Pis and home automation. So, you’ll just have to bear with me.
My issue is that I am trying to setup the AdGuard Home addon for my HA server running on a Raspberry Pi5, and any device I connect to it’s DNS loses internet connection. When I change the DNS on my android devices to the AG DNS server they all say connected/without internet.
I have reinstalled AdGuard multiple times and even changed ISPs (unrelated reasons). I also read that many people were able to solve this problem by changing their upstream DNS servers in the AG settings. I have changed mine to use the Cloudflare, google, and quad 9 DNS servers. But none of these changes have fixed the problem. Besides that, the AdGuard addon settings are all default.
Let me know if there is any more info you need to assist me, as I said I’m new and am not quite sure what all is needed.
