Adguard home - but not the addon - integration

Hi all,

I have decided to run 2 instances of adguard home separately from homeassistant. I have had a few times I was busy with home assistant and 1 memory leak lacking DNS services for my clients.

Now I have 2 instances spread of 2 physcial machines.

My question is how I can “add” those 2 integrations into home assistant…

For the addon (which I will delete later on) I now have:

And I have the according entities available in hom assistant.

But If I want to add another integration for adguard:

What Can I do?

It’s not possible currently (don’t know if it is planned). You can however use the adguard API and create your own sensor and switches. Take a look at this topic.
