Advice needed on MyAir / AdvantageAir

Hi,

I’m considering retrofitting a myair system on my existing ducted air conditioning and was keen to see how people have used the Advantage Air integration to manage their air conditioning through Home Assistant.

At the moment I have all the necessary motion, temperature, air quality and humidity sensors throughout my house that provide enough data for me to automatically control my split system, heaters, ceiling fans and air purifiers that all work together to provide the best experience. Now I’m looking to take this further and automatically control my ducted air conditioning. So want to continue that trend and program the control of my AC through Home Assistant rather than through MyAir, if that makes sense?

I’d be really keen to see the automations you have configured in HA, and hear what worked, what doesn’t, and if you had to install a MyAir system all over again - what you would do differently.

I’d also be interested in anyone that installed the system themselves, even if you aren’t using Home Assistant that much.

For those that don’t know MyAir / AdvantageAir is a ducted zoning system that allows you to control an Air Conditioner and the amount of air which flows into each zone through a bespoke tablet interface. It can also be extended to consider zone occupancy and temperature through a proprietary interface with Philips Hue.

Happy to be DM or reply here.

thanks!
