Advice on setting up ZigBee network

Hey.

I’m after some advice on setting up my ZigBee network. The things I need are:

  1. Hue / IKEA / Innr bulbs supported
  2. Can use the hue app
  3. Motion detectors that send message to HA straight away.

I’ve been using a hue hub with all my bulbs so far which has worked ok and completes the first two requirements.

I’m now trying to expand to use an IKEA motion sensor (to control non ZigBee lights) and the IKEA remote.

So to do that I’ve installed zigbee2mqtt with some IKEA repeaters and there remotes. Which works however I’m wondering if there are now better options that can put all the devices on the same network so they all improve the signal strength?

I was wondering if maybe deConz is the way to go? Would that work with the hue app? What about firmware upgrading the bulbs would that work?

Then another option might be diyhue to carry on using the hue app?
