Hi.
I have successfully used urajNyiri’s integration. What is still not clear to me is how to intercept a motion detect event. I have read that many users have used motionEye. However, this solution involves another hardware and software. Is this the only way?
Thanks
Motioneye is a software which can be set to find out the motion events in video streams, of course, it can do many other things as well.
You define your parameters inside motioneye (tolerance etc) and it generates motion event if it finds out there is a change in video frame.

Thanks to fuatakgun for your reply. However, the TAPO C200 is able to detect movement and also sends a notification to its App. Can these notifications be intercepted? Because this is what I need to be able to trigger automations
Even though device can support this, we don’t know if underlying api and libraries are able to extract the information.
Thanks fuatakgun
