Advice on which LED Driver to use

Hey

I am currently trying to change a lamp from Matter to ZigBee, as the Matter implementation of this lamp is horrible (Slow response time and sometimes not reacting at all until a restart), but I generally love the design of the lamp and would like to keep it.

I bought following lamp:
https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0DT8RTNHL?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2

The driver inside is a Sky Angle-Driver.

The inputs of the LEDs are -3 (black) -5 (white) and V+ (red) ?

Which is distributed over such a board:

The lamp can dimm and change warmth of light.

Can I simply use following Zigbee Driver:
https://www.amazon.de/GLEDOPTO-Controller-Steuerger%C3%A4t-einfarbig-Kompatibel/dp/B0CW1ZD42C/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY

And connect it to the ports like before? Because on this one there is also V3-, V5- and V+. I assume those are the same ports?
It does have input of 12-24V which I do need a driver for.

I would be very grateful for any tips. Thanks!

Best Regards,
Kevin

Quite likely you need driver with similar output voltage/current rating.
Multimeter is your friend here.

Hey,
thanks for the quick answer!
Isn’t the text on the box enough (first picture)?
It says 60-72VDC and MAX 0.85A.

Probably yes, but some probing doesn’t hurt…

So I also looked at the LED Strip, which are MIDUO 224D-8C14B-KT.
But I can’t find any specifications of them online…

Hi Kevin,
did you find a solution that you can share? I’m facing the same issue atm.
Cheers!

Hey  Sadly no… The voltage of those led strips are so unusual, that I could not find a suitable led driver with zigbee for it… And in the lamp case was not enough space for a transformer and a driver.

As I am also not so familiar with electrical stuff, I just left it alone and went with another lamp…

Sorry for the bad news.

Best Regards.
