I have increased the amount of ZWave devices in my network in the last couple of months. My whole network exists of Fibaro wall plugs, Fibaro dimmers and Switches. The temperature sensors are all Aeotec aërQ Temperature & Humidity Sensors. My controller is a Zooz ZST39 LR. I have total of 64 devices added to my controller.
Now that I have a lot more devices and 1 controller, I noticed that I seem to get more errors. I never had these errors before when the network had between 20 and 30 devices.
They errors look mainly like this:
Error while executing automation automation.bedroom_power_plug_television_turn_off_in_absence: Unable to set value 35-37-0-targetValue: zwave_error: Z-Wave error 202 - Failed to send the command after 1 attempts (ZW0202)
This happens now once or twice a day. For the record, the error occurred when an automation had to turn of a Fibaro Wall plug.
The power plug does respond to my command when I manually turn it on and off in HA. So it is available. No devices are offline. The error happens with other plugs sometimes too.
I have tried rebuilding the routes of my network. But after having done that, I noticed that I have a lot more red lines then I did before.
Would a range extender help to prevent these errors? I was looking at the Aeotec Range Extender 7
