Aeotec Dual Nano Switch no Power monitoring

I just bought and connected an Aeotec dual nano switch. It is supposed to provide power monitoring but I am not seeing it in HA.

I see the following sensors: alarm level, alarm type, switch heat
And the following switch: switch, switch2, switch3

I bought this and installed in an outdoor outlet to monitor power usage to a heat strip I have on a water pipe.

Any ideas?

Did you perhaps bought the one without power monitoring?

From what I researched, model zw132 does not have the monitoring and the zw140 does. I have the ZW140-A.

Found this;

The model ZW140 Dual Nano Switch does
not have the ability to monitor energy consumption.
The model ZW132 Dual Nano Switch supports the
energy metering feature and you can see the words
“with Energy Metering” on its packaging box.

I am really beginning to hate Aeotec… Their branding and model options are not at all clear!!!

I really looked at them initially and thought I had purchased the correct one…

I wonder if it is a physical difference or just a firmware difference…

I feel your pain. Hope you can still return it? For z-wave I use the fibaro dimmer. But I’m not sure if all fibaro products have power monitoring.
If you are willing to use a wifi module with power monitoring, take a look at the shelly2

Even if I cannot return it, I could find a use for it elsewhere. More of the hassle to cut power, pull the outlet apart and rewire than anything else.

Thanks for the heads up on the shelly2 but I am trying to keep with a single protocol as much as possible and z-wave has been flawless for me where my wifi is spotty throughout the house.
