Hey… I’ve searched around and can’t seem to find a solution. I have a few Aeotec Smart Dimmer 6 or Smart Plugs that have an RGB color ring that I use for indicators throughout the house.
In HA, I do not have any entity or devices to configure the “color switch” like I did in Homeseer. Below is a screen shot of the ZwaveJS configuration of the device and you can see that there is an item called “Color Switch”. If I manually modify the color picker here it works.
I would submit a new issue with Home Assistant. To help, attach a network dump file, and attach the driver debug logs of a Re-Interview (do not copy and paste into the issue, drag and drop the files).
The screenshot of zwavejs2mqtt does not look correct to me, according to the Aeotec tech docs for this device. It’s possible zwave-js is doing something wrong. The network dump and debug logs will confirm whether it’s an HA or node-zwave-js issue.
Closing the loop… Turns out the device firmware was old and wasn’t presenting the right data to HA/zwave. I updated firmware removed and reincluded and all is working great now.
