it was working fine with using just the IOS app, but after adding NMAP yesterday to track my OTHER devices [not the iphone] it’s doing this shit.

is your iphone being tracked by both nmap and the app?
Mine was doing that before I made them two separate devices.

well, the iphone and all the other devices are listed in known_devices. and nmap is scanning my entire 10.x.x.0/24 ip range.
so i’m sure nmap sees my iphone pop on and off my network.
how do i separate them?
do i have to give the iphone a static ip and then exclude it in nmap?

yeah okay this was helpful.
tho it took me a while to realize i had to also change the device name inside the ios app.
