After changing configuration.yaml system restore old file

Hello,

I’m frustraded by now and decide to ask community.

I’m returning to homeassistant after a while, and now i’m facing quite anoying problem.

After logging into my virtual enviorment for my user dedicated for homeassistant
(BTW: i was fallowing this guide)

I wnated to try Spotify in Home-Assistant in my webpage. (I’m running v0.49)

After changing something in my configuration.yaml:
a. i cannot restart homeassistant by itself from the webpage
b. After reboot the raspberry pi the file which was changed successfully (i double chcked it) returns to form from 2 months ago. Live egzample: today is 08.10.2017 and had propper date and time. After reboot file restore content from 24.07.2017.

Please help me if You can!!!

I really do not want to restoring all system again :frowning:

Is this raspberry pi? (Bad sdcard…maybe try another…)

It is Raspberry Pi 3.
Yeah, i will check it but before reboot everything is stored properly.

I even upload the photo into this SD to be sure.

When my SD cards went bad I had similar symptom…delete file but file return at reboot or change file but file unchanged after reboot.

@tmjpugh i hope to find time today to set up everything from scratch and then i will definitely know if SD card is the problem.

I will be very sad if SD card will be the problem finally because it is really good card. 16 GB SanDisk Class 10. I bought it a year ago.

@tmjpugh hello again,

I did a test. I create a file outside of virtual environment where Home assistant is sitting, and than reboot machine.

File disappear :frowning: so i thing the SD is really the problem.
