After the update to 2020.5.2 I had to relogin.
Whatever I try I always stay in the login screen. no error there.
in the homeassistant server log I only see the message:
2020-09-17 22:50:42 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.http.ban] Login attempt or request with invalid authentication from 127.0.0.1
Tried to create a new user. reset the password etc, but no luck.
Do you have ip banning enabled. Worth checking if your device IP or than loop back address is in the ban file. See here for details

I have checked, but banning is not enabled.
To me it more looks like this version of app is not sending the correct details to home-assistant.
maybe characters or so…
What sounds weird to me that the logon comes from 127.0.0.1?
Shouldn’t that be from the IP your IOS is on?
I have been getting banned more than usual since the latest iOS app update. Did you get your issue solved?
I’m not sure what I can do to stop this from occurring apart from turning off ip banning altogether. It’s quite frustrating.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
Actually I got it working by make sure the IP was passed on well. there I made a mistake.
Still the issue seems that when logging in from web or device and using a bad password keeps my banned. Even if I have banning switched off completely. That’s something strange.
So @Kanishkaz check the logs if the ip is not 127.0.0.1 that’s a good starting point!
