After reinstall HA on Rpi5 HA page does not load

HA ran on my RPi5 for over a year but i suffered unexplainable power offs and they occured more often over time. I found a post: someone solved this by reflashing HA saying new firmware included would solve the power off problem.
So i did, following the directions on the NabuCase site. I ran rpiboot succesfully but then RPI imager (2.0) did not seem to work: no Devices to choose from. I tried older imagers versions: same thing.
At last I used Etcher and flashed yellow-installer-20231025.img.xz succesfully, thats what Etcher reported at least.
But when I connect to my network en power the RPi5 up it cant be found by the browser (http://homeassistant.local:8123).
I can see homeassistant when I log in to my router but it does not list the IP.

Hope some one can help.

Hello Klaas,

Well if using an SD card they do go bad in unusual ways, so my first thought is get a good extended range SD card and try again.
If that doesn’t help. the symptoms do point to router/network/general DNS problems.

I would look thru these posts, especially the one about RasPI’s to see id something helps. The Home Assistant Cookbook - Index

Thanks for reply but i did flash the RPi5 with USB. I ll check the Cookbook

As I understand now (correct me if wrong) after flashing “yellow-installer-20231025.img.xz” and connecting the Yellow to internet+power the yellow installer should go download HAOS. In my case this does not happen. I can see the Yellow communicating with my router but as said no IP is established. And yes I set the jumper on the Yellow to UART. The led on the Yellow is solid green at this stage.
Any suggestions?
