I used a kinda weird work around…
I used IFTTT to work the bulbs, then I send an email to trigger them from HA …
It takes a few seconds, but it works…

I’m currently testing the Google Assistant SDK. It works well, with small limitations.
Have you made any progress with the SDK?
I’ll make the assumption about the Google Assistant SDK reference. I also had the Aidot lights connected to a google home setup, and Home Assistant controlled the lights with the google assistant playing middle-man. Basically sending a google assistant command to control the lights. The biggest downside is that as yet, I can only operate the lights blindly, and assume they are the state of the last command given.
I have very similar bulbs from the same manufacturer. I used the Matter Add On and they paired easily with no middle man. You need to use the Home Assistant app on your phone to set them up as they use Bluetooth for configuration. After the initial setup, they show up in Devices.
