Air Quality Sensors: AirGradient

Saw this video come up in my feed that would be of interest to others in regards to these sensors and goes into details on use’s/types for the brand they have featured:

May look into the ones they have here to link to the air purifier I have on the way if I need more detail for my home setup once I see what sensors I can pull in to HA from the purifier.

I find this very interesting! I am looking for affordable air quality sensors, both indoor and outdoor, that can be integrated in home assistant. I will stay in this thread just to see if someone has tried this AirGradient solution.

I have multiple AirGradient devices and I’ve been maintaining a configuration for ESPhome/HomeAssistant for it.

Just got mine in and wanted to update this thread instead of starting a new one. Was nice and easy to setup, just turn it on, connect to its AP then put in the SSID and Passphrase for mine when it comes up with the settings page and instant detected in HA.

I am now able to properly monitor my air quality levels and know exactly when to open my windows and automate the AC fan mode to increase airflow.

It’s also nice to be able to have the data right on my dashboard with the conditional card for when it goes past caution levels:

edit: after leaving it with the window open overnight, soon as it hit 6am I did a manual calibration using the option in the settings and its now as it should be at 400ish ppm for the baseline safe level. Don’t forget to do this when you get yours.
