AJAX alarm + SIA for HA when already having third-party CMS active

Hello,

I want to connect my AJAX alarm to HA via SIA. However, my alarm is already connected with a third-party CMS, where they monitor my system. This is one of the companies suggested in the AJAX app under “Available Companies”.

My question is, if I setup the options for SIA integration in AJAX Hub, do you know if that would interfere with my third-party CMS? FYI, the Security companies > CMS Connection > Monitoring station page in AJAX Hub doesn’t have anything configured, although my connection to the third-party CMS works fine.

Nope, and I didn’t actually try it. Having my alarm connected to HA is a “nice to have”, but having my monitoring station working flawlessly is a “must have”, not messing up with it :slight_smile:

I’m going to install it in a couple of days and I will try if I can connect HA in parallel of the CMS.
I agree with you about the “must have” vs “nice to have”
For what I saw in the last comment of this youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot_ndKUsFXk&t=193s) it should be possible!

Hi @NMichas I did it and it works. I have my CRA via Cloud and Home Assistant via SIA integration. Just follow the documentation and that’s it :slight_smile:
