The light in the garage door opener in the house we bought this summer doesn’t turn off so I bought an Aladdin Connect retrofit kit to work with it and also bought a LED tape light to use when the door opens. I am guessing it is a timing issue but I have a script that runs when HA sees the door opening and turns the led light on. However, I guess the timing of the script when it runs is greater than the amount of time the door takes to open so every so often, the script doesn’t see the door opening so it doesn’t turn the light on. Is there a way to decrease the amount of time HA checks the status of the door to run the script?
