Alarm.com working but can I change buttons?

I posted this the other day but now I can’t find it so I’m potentially reposting, sorry.

installed pyalarmdotcom / alarmdotcom service. I have it configured and it works to arm/disarm the “home” scene/button only.

It gives several predefined options Home, away, night, vacation etc. In my case the only button that works for me is HOME. I’ve dug around everywhere I can to find where the AWAY, NIGHT etc buttons are coded but it seems maybe they are specific to alarm.com and will automatically trigger the correct mode if it is avail to you on your web interface.

The problem is when I go to the alarm.com web interface I have stay, home, away and several others. I also have an entry delay bypass that we use as our NIGHT mode. but I can’t find a way to enable this function. this is an instant on trigger, so if a door/window opens at night the alarm alerts immediately without the normal entry delay for you to enter digits on keypad which is what we want a night.

so I guess I have 2 questions, is there a place to define what the AWAY, NIGHT etc buttons do or is it just install the service and use whatever buttons work for you?

2nd is there a way to enable the entry delay bypass so we can recreate our NIGHT mode we have on our system?

I read a few responses on the github that say look at the example yaml file. But I didn’t see it and it doesn’t add anything into my yaml file currently. I also saw another comment about making sure the specific away, home etc match the names on the web portal, but I don’t see anywhere to check or change that.

Is there a configuration file somewhere I’m missing?

had another thought as a way to approach this, I have several “scenes” that the app/web portal for alarm.com allows, is there a way to pull those scenes into a card in Home asssitant?
