Alarm: Save State after AC Loss

Hi,

is there a parameter with which i could enable HA to remember the last state of an automation, in this particular case the Alarm automation?
Reason I’m asking is that we suffer power outages “Frequently”, it happens a few times a year and often they aren’t longer than a few minutes. And while we look into ways of mitigating the effects, not only on the HA, it’d be very nice if there was a way to make sure the alarm is still on when the raspi has rebooted.

Is there such a parameter? Thanks!

I use this alarm setup and it does remember the state after a reboot.

If you use an input_boolean to keep the state it will restore on reboot as long as you have the recorder: component included in your config

If you are relying on HA as an alarm system you really should have backup power. A battery, float charger and voltage regulator (for a raspberry pi) or a small UPS is a must. Don’t forget to backup power your router too (a backup cellular network connection is wise too).
