Alarmpanel code entry via keyboard not valid?

HI,

using the keyboard to enter my alarm panel code works fine in HA Legacy ( States)

doing the same on the Lovelace Alarm card renders:

using the mouse to select the number on the virtual keypad works alright, but is rather clumsily when behind a desktop… is this a bug, or per design. If the latter, is there no way to use the keyboard with the manual alarm panel?

Looks like a bug. I couldn’t get it to accept codes correctly from either the numberpad or number keys across the top of the keyboard.

what do you think, is it a bug in the card, or a bug in the HA alarm panel. Probably the card, since that has the exception, not being able to use the keyboard?
