Alexa Actionable Notifications - can't setup

So I was trying to setup Alexa actionable notifications using this guide however I am having trouble getting it to work.

I’ve looked at many YouTube videos and forum posts but still can’t figure out what’s wrong. Tried so many different things.

Anyway so I set it up through the Alexa developer console, and when I go into the Alexa mobile app on my iPhone, I try to link it to my home assistant account (using my local login) and it just says Error: Invalid redirect URI. I tried something else and it goes past that, but comes up with an “Unable to link the skill at this time” error message.

I’m in Australia if that makes a difference. I would really appreciate any help to try and get this up and running. Thankyou!

So it seems that I have somehow managed to connect to the skill and link my account. But now there is an issue where if I ask Alexa to “open actionable notifications” it returns the error message “There was a problem with the requested skill’s response. The target Lambda application returned a failure response”.

So frustrating!!! Thought I finally managed to fix it. If anyone has any possible solutions please let me know!
