Hey folks,
loooong time Homeassistant user here, 400+ Scripts, plethora of devices. So my base setup is working. In the past few days I added Alexa integration (with AWS, lambda et all). I can see all my devices in Amazon Echo App and I can even turn off/on various switches.
Before I dive in deeper, what is the right way to do voice commands?
Like, I have an electric car. The car is integrated in HA and various sensors and devices are there. All working and used by various automations.
In this example, I have a sensor abtly named “Twingo Battery”, a numeric.
I want to be able to say “Alexa, what is the current charge of the Twingo?” And she should reply with “Its at 37 percent.”
Now I do not need a full automation, just a few best-practice pointers.
