Alexa Custom Skill after URL change not working

Hi all,

I recently changed my Cloudflare URL to access Home Assistant remotely. Since then, I haven’t been able to get my Alexa custom skill to work with Home Assistant again.

  • I updated the URL in the Amazon Developer Console.
  • In the Alexa mobile app, I go to Custom Skills and link my skill by entering the credentials. Everything appears to work fine.
  • However, when I try to discover new devices by navigating to Add Device > Light > Other > Wi-Fi, no new devices are found. Previously connected devices (which are still available in Home Assistant) are no longer accessible.

Could you please help me figure out what’s going wrong?

Solved: Needed to change the URL also in the AWS Console and not only in the Developer Console Faceplam!
