I have installed and configured Alexa Media Player and I see the add on in HACS but not in Integrations. Also in HACS I do not see any of my Echo devices. I tried de-installing AMP and reinstalling it - no success. Any idea what I need to do?
you won’t see any devices in HACS. All HACS does is allows you to download custom integrations and such.
you then have to add the integration to HA as you would any other built-in integration under the integrations tab.
then when it’s configured correctly there your devices will show up under that integration entry.
Repost that in English please… So all can participate
SORRY - the ENGLISH version —
I have also downloaded AMP as integration. I recieved the message: AMP is successfully authenticated. Please ignore the message "Disconnected "from home assistannt (which I have not recieved. Also although I see AMP in HACS I see no AMP widget in integration and as mentioned, I cannot integrate any of my Echo devices in automations
it still isn’t making sense…
if AMP is authenticated then it has to be listed under the integrations tab.
do you see this:
if not then you need to go to the bottom right of the integrations tab and select “add integration” and the select “Alexa Media Player” from the list.
If you do see that integration in the screenshot above post a screenshot of yours so we can see to compare it.
Hello, I still do not know what I did but it worked. I reloaded the integration, got the "pls ignore the cancelled message. Than I pressed as suggested by you the 3 dots top right of the integration page; saw there AMP, restarted HA, et voila, it worked. Tones of thanks finity x 1000
