Alexa Media Player Not Loading in HA 2024.12

After I updated this morning to 2024.12 I now get an error that the Alexa media player is “not loaded”.
I tried to delete the integration but i will not uninstall.
If I try “Add Integration” I get this error: “Config flow could not be loaded: 500 Internal Server Error Server got itself in trouble”.
Since I do nightly backups I rolled back to 2024.11.3 to get the the integration running again.

AMP is know to be broken, again. You need to wait and see if they’ll push a fix, or if (as is looking increasingly likely) the devs are just going to abandon it.

Thanks, thought as much after reading from past times it broke after an update. Will wait to see if there is a fix comes out.

Thanks for the fix! Installed it last night.

In lieu of what do you have an idea?

Do the usual troubleshooting steps?

The starting points are always:

  1. Check for an update to the custom integration
  2. Check HA’s core logs
  3. Regret using AMP

Regret using AMP… . Its worked for ears (with a few quirks)… Im standing up a new instance of HA… it works in my last… but broken in the new one… or at least I cant get the integration to load,

UPDATE:
So I tried to load the integration one last time… it worked… But I’m not sure why.

  1. Went to te integrations drop down… selected Alexa Media Player
  2. Filled out the HA dialog as normal… clicked the ok button
  3. Was taken to the Amazon log in… Since I already have a development account there I selected “Already Have An Account”… IT BOMBED AS USUAL… took me to the Err 500 Page
  4. When I closed that page… HA was already running the AMP installation… HuH?

It found all my Echos, Fire Sticks etc… and loaded them in…

So??? I dunno… is it fixed or did my stubbornness pay off.
