I separate my dashboard by zones… actually Dwain does that for me, but still. When I click into a area and see the room dashboard, I like to have my labels (e.g. “Kitchen Overhead Lights”) just say “Lights”. The issue is, that messes up the entities that are exposed to Alexa so that i can use voice to control them.
Anyone have any suggestions? It’d be great if Nabu Casa/Alexa were smart enough to use the area and t he name ‘Lights’ to turn on the Kitchen Lights without having to use the whole “Kitchen Overhead Lights” to say to turn on or off.
Is there any way around this?
