Alexa Responds I’m not quite sure what went wrong, after restart

As topic, Alexa responds " I’m not quite sure what went wrong with " when asked to perform an action. This primarily happens after restart of HA. Using HA Assist voice command works fine.

If I use the web interface, logout of home assistant cloud / link (Nabu Cassa) , then log straight back in it all start working again. (Logging out and back in of the cloud / link through the Android app doesn’t seem to fix the issue).

Has anyone else experienced this? It seems to have got worse since Alexa went to Alexa+, but I have no solid evidence for this.

Any troubleshooting steps I can take?

Thanks.
Matt

Still struggling with is. Spent a while today trying to discover why my mobile devices weren’t reliability sending data to home assistant. I have a couple of laptops that use the go-hass-agent to send data. To troubleshoot I uninstalled and tried to re-register the go-hass-agent with home assistant, but it kept erroring out. Whilst debugging I was advised to try manually connecting to Nabu Casa using the web-hook, and I got a 503 error:

curl -I -H "Authorization: Bearer <text_redatced> -H "Content-Type: application/json" https://hooks.nabu.casa/<text_redacted>

HTTP/2 503
date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 16:26:09 GMT
content-type: application/json; charset=utf-8
content-length: 42
server: nginx/1.27.5
x-powered-by: Express
etag: W/"2a-DT+gav1WFnZsZ4ayLfGExBNHIuE"

I then signed out, and back into Home Assistant Cloud, and retried the same curl as above, with the following result:

HTTP/2 200
date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 16:35:56 GMT
content-type: application/octet-stream
server: nginx/1.27.5
x-powered-by: Express

This looks to me like whatever is effecting my Alexa use, is actually communication lost between Home Assistant and Nabu Cassa’s web services.

Can anyone suggest what I need to look at, or should I be raising this with Nabu Cassa?

Thanks,
Matt
