Anyone else hoping to use routines to trigger emulated hue devices? I was… Only to find out for whatever reason completely random things are only available to be selected. Anyone else run into this problem?
At first I thought it just couldn’t detect emulated devices but two of my exposed switches show up, but that’s it. Super weird. All of my devices are in the devices list in the main “smart home” section of Alexa so it’s not like they don’t exist.
Yeah, I’m not having everything show up either.
Weird. I only have a handful of emulated hue devices the rest are haaska and all show up just fine.

rediscovering my devices gave me a little more complete list and some that did show up but were not usable before were suddenly usable.
so give it a little time and rediscover your devices.
alexa did activate the routine for the first time last night here.
only thing that i think is to bad, is that she now responds with oke, when i say goodnight to her.

I’d really like to have a talk with someone on one of these development teams just so I can ask “Why?, what exactly is the hurdle? A basic understanding of human interaction, or something else?”
