Alexa Smart Home Devices Won’t Go Away

Good morning

There was a time, it was possible to delete everything that was connected to Alexa, using a web browser, connected home section, you can delete everything!
by the link: https://alexa.amazon.com/

Except that this has become impossible, we wonder what the DEVs are doing at Amazon / Alexa! because at the moment intelligence level 0

I had a big problem with Home Assistant, I had to redo my Alexa installation.

so redo everything in skill, and in AWS!

Except that now I have

I have filtered with

alexa:
   smart_home:
     local: fr-FR
     endpoint: https://api.amazonalexa.com/v3/events
     client_id: amzn1.application-oa2-client.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
     client_secret: amzn1.oa2-cs.v1.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

     filter:
       include_entities:

But the old ones always come back… Do you have a solution to delete everything like before?

The only thing I found is this
Post

THANKS.

you need to use the alexa mobile app now instead of using the web page.

it requires you to visit each device and manually remove it from those settings there.

I agree that the Alexa devs just made everything dealing with smart devices so much more cumbersome but its the way everything seems to be going and not just Amazon.

Hello

Thanks, @finity

As for devices for the moment I don’t have 500, so we’ll say that it’s fine for the moment, on the other hand all my scenes and others go back and it’s a hassle to delete one by one… .

I have 500+ devices and I really would like to sell all my Alexa devices and buy something else! It’s so annoying that they cancel features that were useful! For me it’s not useable anymore.
