Alexa smart home - slowed down?

Hi

Ive been using the Alexa Smart Home Skill for a few months now (“Self deployed” option using Lambda)

In the beginning, things worked flawlessly. Lately (last month or so) I have noticed a significant slow down in the response times when asking Alexa to do something, and the action taking place
E.G “Alexa, turn on the light” takes 5-10 seconds before the lights turn on, before it was almost instantaneous.

Additionally, I will sometimes have to repeat myself for the action to succeed as Alexa times out or “completes” but nothing happens

Any ideas on what I can look at to troubleshoot or even any ideas of speeding up the response?

Thanks!

Well didnt take too long but I’ve switched to using GitHub - t0bst4r/home-assistant-matter-hub: Publish your Home-Assistant Instance using Matter.

Requests are back to instantaneous!

Hello, I have the same problem here but instead of using another solution I would like to investigate a bit but don’t really know how. Sometimes when a ask to close “all my blinds” some are not closed, sometimes when I ask for a specific one, there is a timeout, sometimes it works after few sec, sometimes immediatly…

Any lead or advice ? Thanks
