Hello everyone,

I’m sur many of you have this ali express doorbell.

It’s inexpensive and do the job. Anyone had the luck to integrate the video feedbto HA? Mine work with an app called “ubox”.

A picture doesn’t identify the device.

Thank you for your reply, I can’t find any specific brand, I think this are generic device. The app says m12-T31-1054.

Even the website advert you bought it from? Send us a link.

most probably you wont be able to integrated to HA

Well it certainly won’t if we cannot even identify the device.

those camera usually running on tuya FW which will be difficult to crack at this moment. Again I hope we will get more detail since aliexpress have tons of those camera/doorbell

My door is automated - if someone approaches, the dogs bark. Highly reliable, never failed.

 hahahahahah… very smart indeed

Meh… But is the dog integrated in HA?

It has some sort of RFID tag but I haven’t tried to scan is myself.

Hello again, I think it use p2p protocole, I’v found a sticker in the battery bay with a QR code, a UID and something like a password. Taping the ip adresse in the browser return nothing.

Can you share your YAML file. My dog can’t do such automation.

I could use include files I suppose and generate a config for the schnauzer.

I recently took delivery of the same doorbell camera and I am unhappy with the ubox app - it is very shaky and I am unsure how secure it is. I took it apart and have attached a photo of the mainboard with hope somebody could advise us if third party firmware is possible

I’m a new user so only able to upload one image

Kind Regards

Seems unlikely.

The Chip on the right says it is an Ingenic T31. It is (I believe) a combination of a MIPS processor and some RISC processor.

At least that will give you something to google on.

The Xiaomi Dafang is based on a T20 and has 3rd party firmware.
