Please can the Companion app be allowed as a media player.
I have a brilliant alarm clock set up through home assistant using helpers, scripts, and an automation. I would love to be able to trigger an alarm sound on my mobile phone while on holiday instead of triggering it on my Home Assistant Voice preview edition in the bedroom.
I’ve seen people discussing trying to use the media player controls on the companion app, and it not being available, but have not seen this as a feature request.
Just send a notification via a specific notification channel and pick the sound you want for that channel on your phone.
I do exactly this for my alarm system: I have an alarm channel and a specific sound and then also use notification commands to have it crank up the volume.
